From January to August, China’s exports of plastic products reached 172.86 billion yuan, an increase of 16.3%.

In August, China’s total import and export value was 2.41 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.1%. Among them, exports were 1.35 trillion yuan, up 6.9%; imports were 1.06 trillion yuan, up 14.4%; trade surplus was 286.5 billion yuan, down 14%.

Statistics show that from January to August, China exported 172.86 billion yuan of plastic products , a year-on-year increase of 16.3%. The export of electrical and electronic products was 2.45 trillion yuan, an increase of 11% year-on-year. Automobile exports reached 630,000 units, an increase of 44.4% year-on-year.

In the first eight months, China imported 18.45 million tons of primary-shaped plastics, an increase of 11.6% year-on-year. The average import price was 115,000 yuan per ton, up 10.4%. 800,000 imported cars, an increase of 20.3%.

General trade import and export growth, the proportion increased. In the first 8 months, China’s general trade import and export was 10.12 trillion yuan, up 17.9%; among them, exports were 5.39 trillion yuan, up 11.6%; imports were 4.73 trillion yuan, up 26%; trade surplus was 650.37 billion yuan, narrowing 39.1 %.

Import and export growth in markets such as Europe, the United States, Japan, and ASEAN. In the first eight months, the total trade value between China and the EU was 2.71 trillion yuan, an increase of 16.1%. The total trade value between China and the United States was 2.53 trillion yuan, an increase of 19.1%. In the first eight months, bilateral trade between China and ASEAN totaled 2.2 trillion yuan, an increase of 19.9%. The total value of Sino-Japanese trade was 1.32 trillion yuan, an increase of 15.4%.
