The vertical mill has the advantages of large single machine capacity, reliable operation, large output, stable product quality and low energy consumption (30%-40% energy saving compared with ball mill). From the stand-alone production scale of ultra-fine products, the single-machine production capacity of impact mill, dry sand mill and ring roller mill is small. In comparison, ball mills and vertical mills can achieve higher yields under the same conditions, and are easy to achieve heavy calcium scale processing. I have to admit that the single-machine capacity of the ball mill is the largest. When producing more than 1250 mesh products, the performance is more outstanding. This is unmatched by other equipments. However, the fineness of the powder milled by the ball mill is uncontrollable and the energy consumption is low. There are no advantages in environmental protection and energy conservation.
In contrast, the vertical mill utilizes the principle of crushing and pulverizing, and the particles that have been crushed to the particle size requirement can be taken away with the air flow in an instant, thereby avoiding the situation that the ball mill is over-grinded, thereby achieving the purpose of energy saving.
