The product belongs to low-crystal point and high-transparency plastic. The product has the characteristics of good fluidity and strong chemical stability. It is more expensive than general-purpose plastics and is mainly used for producing electronic screens for mobile phone screens, etc., and has a broad market prospect. The successful trial production of this product will further enrich the structure of polyethylene products and is expected to become a new benefit growth point for Maoming Petrochemical.

In recent years, with the replacement of electronic products such as mobile phones and IPADs, the demand for these liquid crystal screen films has been increasing. The liquid crystal film produced by the high-transparency and low-crystal low-density polyethylene products 2420H is deeply affected. Downstream production companies love it. After a survey, Guo Qinsheng found that such products have a large market demand in the Pearl River Delta, but the supply is always insufficient.

This new product is hard to come by. In the beginning of 2015, the sales feedback market demanded 2420H for high-transparent LCD electronic screen film, and the price was about 1200 yuan per ton more than general-purpose plastic. The production department of the Chemical Division once gave the high-pressure workshop a trial production of this new grade, but since it was the first trial production of this grade, the characteristics of this new product were not well understood, and the trial output did not pass the large-scale use of the manufacturer. The first trial production ended in failure.

At the beginning of this year, Guo Qinsheng participated in the seminar of polyethylene experts of the group company. The experts of the group company put forward such a request to Guo Qinsheng: strive to continue the trial production of the unsuccessful liquid crystal electronic screen film special material 2420H in 2015 this year.

"Because this LCD screen film has very strict requirements on the crystal point of the product, it can't exceed 3 crystal points per 10cm2. This is a test of our control of the reactor parameters. Before the trial production failed in 2015, it is because of the crystal point of the product. More than enough, can not meet the requirements." Guo Qinsheng was a bit unwilling to fail before the advance.

After returning from the polyethylene expert seminar, Guo Qinsheng improved the integration of a new formula through discussions with professors of the institute and a large amount of literature.

In June of this year, Guo Qinsheng asked the workshop technician to track the fisheye changes of the device. This fisheye can directly lead to an increase in the crystal point of the product, so the fisheye of the product must be strictly controlled. In September, he summoned the technical backbone of the workshop, and by optimizing the relevant parameters of the adjustment device, the fish eyes of the product were almost zero. One week before the preparation for the trial production of 2420H, Guo Qinsheng, who was not at ease, asked the team to track the fisheye of the product every day to ensure that the device was in the best condition.

Guo Qinsheng took the lead in the central control room. By optimizing the four temperature peak ranges of the reactor, the reaction pressure was kept at the optimal value, the hot water system was optimized, the heat removal capacity of the reactor was accelerated, and the reactor was prevented from sticking to the wall. They sent the Sinochem test every 30 minutes, and finally got a satisfactory product after 3 hours of conversion.

"In fact, at the beginning of the first time to send pellets to the chemical test, there are actually 8 crystal points of the products, and we all have some collapse. After all, it takes 3 months to prepare this new product. Later We analyzed the influencing factors mainly in the low-separation tank. Although the previous reactor temperature peak was controlled in the lower temperature range, the product may still cross-link in the low-separation tank, resulting in an increase in the crystal point of the product. The fourth temperature peak outlet temperature and the low-level tank level were adjusted in time. By optimizing the residence time of the material in the low-separation tank, the crystal point of the product was reduced, and a qualified new product was obtained."
