Study on rapid detection of melamine

On the 17th, the reporter learned from the Provincial Bureau of Quality Supervision that the rapid detection method of melamine in food and feed in our province has yielded important results. The Key Laboratory of Quality Inspection and Food Safety Analysis and Detection Technology of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China (Fuzhou University) ) The joint provincial science and technology plan key project “Research on rapid low-cost detection method of melamine in food and feed” passed the acceptance by experts from the Provincial Science and Technology Department, and the research results have reached the international advanced level.

It is reported that this research project uses melamine to cause the aggregation of nano-gold particles, adopts label-free nano-gold as a detection probe, and establishes a nanogold colorimetric method for rapid detection of melamine, which is visually distinguishable in liquid milk detection. The minimum detectable concentration is 0.1mg/kg; using nanogold as a quencher, a simple, sensitive nanogold fluorescence enhancement detection technology is established; an analysis method for rapid screening of melamine is innovatively established.

The research results of this project have not only been published in SCI magazine journals, but have also been publicized and reported by a number of publications and websites at home and abroad, and applied for 1 national invention patent. The detection method has the characteristics of simple operation, short detection time, low cost and high sensitivity, and has good social and economic benefits.
