Wireless monitoring of digital microwave transmission

Digital microwave can be divided into analog microwave and digital microwave two ways.

Analog microwave: In this way, the transmission is to directly modulate the video signal in the microwave channel and transmit it through the antenna. The monitoring center receives the microwave signal through the antenna and then demodulates the original video signal through the microwave receiver. According to Transcend Tiancheng Shi Zhaozhao, this monitoring method has no compression loss and almost no delay. Therefore, video quality can be guaranteed. However, it is only suitable for point-to-point single-channel transmission and is not suitable for large-scale deployment. In addition, there is no modulation calibration process, and the The interference is poor, and it can hardly be used in the case of a complex wireless signal environment. The lower the frequency of the analog microwave, the longer the wavelength and the stronger diffraction ability, but it is very easy to interfere with other communications. Therefore, this method was used more often in the 1990s and is rarely used at present.

Digital microwave: Digital microwave is the first to encode and compress the video signal, modulate through the digital microwave channel, and then use the antenna to send out; the receiver is the opposite, the antenna receives the signal, and then microwave despreading and video decompression, and finally restored to analog The video signal is transmitted. This method is also widely used in the domestic market. The scalability of digital microwaves is large, and at least a dozen channels are available for communication capacity, and the construction is relatively easy, the communication efficiency is high, and the application is flexible. Digital microwaves have the advantage of being incomparable with analog microwaves, such as situations where there are many monitoring points, situations where it is necessary to add relays, situations are complicated, and interference sources are numerous.

To sum up, digital microwaves have large capacity, strong anti-jamming capability, good confidentiality, the same transmission power transmission distance, less influence by terrain or obstacles, rich interfaces, and strong expansion capabilities. In contrast, analog microwaves do not have these advantages. They are only a little cheaper.
