(2) How to use tooling

The positioning sleeve 2 is clamped by the lathe chuck 1 and the workpiece 3 is placed in the positioning sleeve 2, and the workpiece is correctly positioned by the taper hole of the positioning sleeve 2. Screw on the clamping nut 4, approximately 3 mm of the end face of the workpiece, and lock with a hook wrench. If there is a weld on the surface of the workpiece, the weld bead is aligned with the groove 6 in the positioning sleeve 2 when the workpiece is placed to ensure the positioning accuracy of the workpiece 3 within the positioning sleeve 2. In this process, the inner hole size, the axial size, the both end faces of the workpiece, and the inner chamfer can be processed.

2. Car taper process

(1) Outer Conical Surface Tooling Structure The tooling consists of two parts: the positioning shaft 2 and the top plate 4. As shown in Figure 4.
