However, as the new refined oil pricing mechanism has not yet been introduced, the industry expects that the price adjustment will also face the same delay as the previous two adjustments.

During this period, WTI and Brent crude oil prices continued to drop sharply, and both fell below 35 US dollars/barrel, and Brent oil prices fell to a new low in 11 years. Last week, international oil prices fell for 5 days and the cumulative decline was as high as 10%.

As of January 8, Anxious monitoring data showed that the rate of change in the price of refined oil products was -3.45%, and that for domestic gasoline and diesel was expected to be reduced by about RMB 60/ton. However, Yang Xun, an analyst with refined oil industry analyst Yang Dan, said on the China New Energy Channel: "Reference to the last two National Development and Reform Commission's suspension of the precedent of oil prices, before the new price adjustment mechanism has not been introduced, this Wednesday's price reduction may be suspended again. ”

According to Yang Dan's introduction, after experiencing the last two rounds of price grading, due to the relatively weak market fundamentals, market buyers are not paying attention to the price adjustment, waiting for the introduction of a new refined oil price adjustment mechanism.

Xue Qun, an analyst at Longzhong Petrochemical Network, said: “The current refined oil pricing mechanism was announced at the end of March 2013. Although the price adjustment cycle has been shortened and it is closer to the international crude oil price, there is still an opaque price adjustment and lag. Sex and other issues."

Previously, the Xinhua News Agency reported that the National Development and Reform Commission has convened a special meeting to solicit comments from relevant departments and units on further improving the mechanism for the formation of refined oil prices. It is expected that the refined oil price will be temporarily adjusted before the introduction of the new mechanism. Before the press release, the National Development and Reform Commission still did not issue relevant policies on the new pricing mechanism. Therefore, the possibility that the first round of refined oil prices will be grounded in 2016 is still very high.

Luo Yan, an analyst with Longzhong Petrochemical, estimates that the future price adjustment period may be further shortened, and the international crude oil varieties affiliated with it may continue to be adjusted, and the calculation formula and content of the price adjustment mechanism may also be more clear.
